Happy National Peanut Butter Day!
I’ve seen some people say national peanut butter day was yesterday, while others are saying it’s today. But that’s okay, because for me basically every day is peanut butter day! It’s rare for me to have a day where I don’t eat peanut butter in some way, shape, or form.
I’ve been super busy moving back into my dorm and preparing for classes to start tomorrow, hence my inactivity, but I made these rice cakes as a snack this afternoon.
• 2 lightly salted rice cakes (quaker)
• creamy peanut butter (crazyrichardspb)
• allergen free chocolate chunks (enjoylifefoods)
I used dairy free chocolate chunks because my digestive system has been absolutely awful for the past month or so to the point where I just feel sick all the time and it hasnt gotten any better, so I’m trying to minimize the amount of dairy I consume for a week or so to see if I’m maybe mildly lactose intolerant. I know it’s hidden as minor ingredients in so many of my dorm room snacks, but if I can at least eliminate the big culprits I’m hoping that will be enough to determine if I am or not.
